Tibetan Aid Foundation
The Tibetan Aid Foundation (TAF) is dedicated to raising funds to establish sustainable health care clinics and to support educational programs in rural Tibetan communities. I was fortunate enough to accompany foundation members and a medical team to rural Amdo province to photographically document the clinic and its progressive success in treating local Tibetans. The majority of the medial issues the clinic manages are preventable diseases caused by lack of running water, and suitable waste disposal. The TAF is committed to addressing these larger issues as a more comprehensive method to manage the health care of the Tibetan people.
